The Southern Colorado Australian Shepherd club came into existance for the purpose of promoting the Australian Shepherd in the conformation, obedience and stock rings.

Our membership offers a varity of people that have useful knowledge about the breed, the history, and the various avenues of competiton.

The club focuses on the southern portion of the state, offering 12 days of conformation shows and obedience trials, and at least two days of stock trials per year. All shows are at the Elbert County Fairgrounds in Kiowa, Colorado. This is a heated indoor facility, with concrete floors. The club utilizes traditional show mats and ring standards for our rings.

Southern Colorado Australian Shepherd Club promotes educational seminars when they are able.
